Charity Fun Run
As part of the school’s commitment to support great causes we are holding a ‘Fancy Dress Charity Fun Run’ in aid of The Magnolia Centre in York on Monday 9th February 2026. The Magnolia Centre in York, is a local charity that offers support and care for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. This event will be for all pupils from Reception to Swale. It would be fantastic if pupils could raise sponsorship over the Christmas Holidays as part of this event. Our online fundraising page is live HERE Last year we raised over £1000 for the York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity, an incredible achievement in itself. Let’s try and surpass that target in 2026 for The Magnolia Centre, please remember to gift aid all donations if you are eligible to do so. Parents are welcome to come and support the children during the afternoon. The race will take place at 2.30 pm for Reception – Year 2 and 2:40pm for Years 3-Swale. The fancy dress will have no specific theme, however, do consider the possible weather conditions on the day, and your child’s choice of costume.
World Book Day
Dress up as your favourite literary character for our annual fancy dress day, in celebration of our love of books.
Chocolate Cake Race
Pupils will take part in our annual inter-house running event, competing for house points and the traditional chocolate cake prize.
Illustration Workshop with Eleanor Tomlinson
Join us this Easter for a special illustration workshop with Eleanor Tomlinson, a professional artist and illustrator. Eleanor is best known for her work painting Paddington and the Queen, and will be sharing her skills, techniques and creative inspiration in this hands-on session. A fantastic opportunity for pupils to develop their illustration skills and enjoy a creative Easter workshop. Tickets on sale soon
Non-Uniform Day
Raising money for Comic Relief. Pupils are invited to wear non-uniform to school in support of Comic Relief.

Cundall Golf Open
Back for year two! Join us at Rudding Park, welcoming all ages and abilities to play the 6-hole Repton Short Course or 18 hole Hawtree Course. Sunday 17thMay, Tee times from 2:10pm. Join us at Rudding Park for an enjoyable afternoon of golf, choosing between the 6-hole Repton Course or the 18-hole Hawtree Course. Open to adults and junior teams of four, the event offers a great chance to compete for the Cundall Open title. Pre-Prep Halloween Fun Day
We’re celebrating Halloween with a day full of spooky fun! Pupils are invited to come to school in optional fancy dressand take part in a range of exciting activities. In the morning Reception, Years 1&2, we’ll be taking a short trip across the road to Yorkshire Pumpkins to pick a pumpkin, and in the afternoon, everyone can enjoy a spooktacular Halloween disco.
