Cundall Equestrian Team Qualify for National Championship

A huge well done to the Cundall Equestrian team who travelled to Bishop Burton College with the aim of qualifying for more classes at the Schools Championships, Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire on 19th– 20thOctober 2017. The teams entered the ‘Jumping with Style’ classes consisting of a long and technical course with both show jumps and rustic fences. The Cundall team included Venetia Thompson, Theo Thompson, Jemima Kitching and George Barker claimed the top spot and won the 75cms ‘ Jumping with Style’ class with Venetia winning individually. Congratulations to the team. In the 85 cms ‘Jumping With Style’ Class, the Cundall team including Venetia Thompson, Zaila Barker, Kate Sanderson and Jemima Tomlinson came a very impressive 2nd.  The team were narrowly pipped to the top spot but successful successfully secured qualification for this class at the national championship later this month. It was a great effort from everyone and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it. The team were lucky to have beautiful weather and all the ponies and riders should be very proud of their achievements. Good luck to everyone competing at Addington Manor later this month.   The Cundall Equestrian Team earlier this year
